Helping Individuals and Families Grow Together

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFT-A)

I’m Jackson, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFT-A) with a passion for helping children, teens, and families find healing, connection, and growth. I’m originally from Alabama, where I graduated from the University of Alabama in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Psychology and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. I went on to earn my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy in the spring of 2025. During that time, I developed a deep appreciation for the power of relationships—both within families and in the therapeutic space—to bring about meaningful change.

My clinical journey began while completing my graduate training, where I worked closely with children and their families navigating a wide range of challenges, including behavioral concerns, communication struggles, emotional regulation, and family transitions. Those early experiences shaped my belief that every child and family deserves a space where they feel seen, supported, and understood.

Now as a therapist at WellNest Counseling, I’m excited to continue this work here in Texas. I’ve recently passed my licensure exam and am now accepting clients! I work primarily with children, adolescents, and families, helping them strengthen relationships, manage stress, and develop tools for resilience. My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that growth happens when people feel safe and valued. Whether it’s through play therapy techniques with children, family sessions focused on improving connection, or individual work with teens adjusting to life changes, I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves.

I view therapy as a partnership—one that encourages exploration, celebrates progress, and acknowledges the courage it takes to seek help. I often integrate family systems theory, solution-focused approaches, and play-based interventions depending on each client’s unique needs. My goal is to help clients not only work through challenges but also recognize their strengths and build lasting confidence.

Being part of the WellNest team has been an incredible opportunity. I love working alongside a group of therapists who share a heart for families and community. As I continue to grow in my role as a therapist, I’m committed to lifelong learning, staying curious, and continuing to find ways to best support those I serve.

Outside of WellNest

When I’m not in session, I enjoy spending time with my fiancée, her family, and friends—or catching up with my family back home in Alabama. Staying connected to loved ones is something I value deeply, and those relationships remind me daily of the importance of connection in our emotional well-being.

I’m also an avid sports fan—especially when it comes to Alabama athletics! (Roll Tide!) Watching games, keeping up with stats, and cheering for my team has always been a fun way to unwind and stay connected to my roots.

If you’re considering therapy for yourself, your child, or your family, I’d love to connect with you. Whether you’re seeking support for life transitions, emotional challenges, or relationship struggles, my goal is to create a space that feels safe, hopeful, and empowering.

I’m currently accepting new clients and would be honored to walk alongside you and your family on your journey toward growth and healing.
